  • The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for delivering a client accounting function in respect of service charges and rental income. The post holder will ensure that all client accounting functions including income and expenditure are processed in a timely manner and do not breach RICS codes of practice. The role will further be responsible for ensuring that our client raises its fees appropriately and for the overall integrity of data in the Property Management system.
  • Preferable skills for a candidate are
  • Detailed knowledge of the construction, accounting and management of service charges.
 
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, policy and best practice relating to service charges.
 
  • Experience of a similar role in a growing SME
 
  • Experience of carrying out a client accounting function
 
  • Experience of producing reports and statistics.
 
  • Experience of dealing with a range of clients and balancing differing priorities.
 
  • Experience of using Qube to carry out client and service charge accounting.
 
  • Experience of producing KPI reports
 
  • Experience of carrying out multiple bank account reconciliation
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
 
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
 
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
 
  • A solution-focused approach
 
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office applications.
 
  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail
 
  • Ability to work as part of a team
